A short guide
to Lördagsgodis
For decades, Swedish families have skipped the daily candy habit in favor of one really good day. Saturday. The mix is personal, the spread is shared, and the rules (if there are any) are about variety. Here's how to start yours.
It's Sweden's Saturday candy tradition. A weekly ritual where families gather, mix their favorites from the pick-and-mix wall, and treat candy as something worth doing well. We've built our whole approach around it. One day a week, done properly, beats a daily habit every time.
Are your products vegan?
A lot of them, yes, but not all. Our entire Original Series is vegan, gelatin-free, and palm oil–free. Other products vary, and we mark each one clearly on the package. We're working on making more of the range vegan over time, and we'll keep updating as we go.
Where is your candy made?
Most of it in Sweden. The rest is made elsewhere in the Nordics, and Vegobears is made right here in the US. We're transparent about where each product comes from, check the packaging for more information.
What's the difference between all your brands?
We're a house of brands, not a single product line. S-Märke is our iconic Swedish sour candy. Vegobears is our modern vegan gummy line, made in the US. Bubs is a Swedish brand we distribute. And under the Candy People masterbrand, you'll find our Original Series. Vegan, palm oil–free pick-and-mix favorites in portion bags. Each brand has its own story. All of them earn their shelf space.
How long does your candy last?
Candy isn't really meant to sit around, but if it does, every bag is printed with a best-by date so you'll know exactly where you stand. Stored somewhere cool and dry, our products keep their texture and flavor right up to that date. Honestly though, in our experience they don't make it that long.
